The college won the second prize in the "Don’t forget the original heart and follow the party" teacher-student red song contest
On May 28, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the school held a red song chorus competition for teachers and students of "Don't forget the original heart and follow the party". The college attaches great importance to this activity. Dean Qian Linmao, Union Chairman Xu Jianing, Vice Chairman Zhang Yafei and more than 150 teachers and students participated in the competition. In order to have a better performance in the competition, the participants overcame many difficulties and rehearsed more than 10 times before the competition.
On the day of the chorus competition, all the staff and performers gathered at Hongqiao on the Xipu campus at 7:40 in the morning and took a bus to the Jiuli campus together. Although there are some bumps on the road, our mental state has not been affected in the slightest. After arriving at the Jiuli campus, the participating teachers and students went to the No. 0 teaching building together to change clothes and make-up together. At noon, the instructor Ding Xuyang arranged the last rehearsal for everyone, and corrected our pitch time and time again, striving to compete in the best condition.
In this competition, the teachers and students of the School of Mechanical Engineering won the third and second prizes among the 32 teams participating in the chorus competition. This chorus competition is not only a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, but also a testament to the defiance, perseverance, and excellence of the teachers and students of the School of Mechanical Engineering. Under this spirit inheritance, the robots of Jiaotong University will definitely live up to their mission and make contributions to the school and the country in the future.
