Invited by researcher Wang Wenjian from the School of Mechanical Engineering of Southwest Jiaotong University, Dr. Chen Hua, senior principal researcher from the Japan Railway Technical Research Institute gave an online lecture on "Evaluation of lubrication between wheel and rail in track curve sections" at 19:00 on June 24, 2021. Dr. Chen Hua gave a detailed explanation on the latest research results of various types of lubricants such as grease, water-based, and solid, and shared the development status and trend of rail transit wheel-rail lubrication technology in Japan. The attendees had a lively discussion on the content of the lecture.
After the discussion of the academic lecture, researcher Wang Wenjian and Dr. Chen Hua discussed in depth the next cooperation plan for the study of wheel-rail service behavior in complex environments, which laid a good foundation for China-Japan rail transit exchanges and cooperation.
