On the afternoon of November 12, 2021, the kick-off meeting of the Sino foreign cooperative education project of the College of mechanical engineering was held in conference room 2242 of Jiuli campus. Yuan Yanping, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, Qian Linmao, President and Tian Huaiwen, vice president of the college, Zhan Feng, director of the Sino foreign cooperative education project office, Professor Li Fu, director of the expert committee, as well as the electromechanical measurement and control department, locomotive and rolling stock department The person in charge and teachers of the Department of energy, power and automotive engineering attended the kick-off meeting. The meeting was presided over by Sha Xiaoxue, director of the general affairs office.
At the meeting, President Qian Linmao introduced the background and importance of the establishment of the Sino foreign cooperative school running project of the college. Then, director Zhan Feng made clear the project operation organization in his speech, and introduced each project participant and corresponding rights, responsibilities and interests, etc. Director Zhan Feng said that the Sino foreign cooperative school running project was officially launched this semester. With the strong support of the International Department, the Secretary and President of the college, and on the basis of teacher Tang Yang's accumulated work in the early stage, it was finally successfully launched today.
Associate Professor Tang Yang made a very detailed introduction to the Sino German and Sino US cooperative school running project to be launched by the college from the aspects of cooperative school running specialty, application preparation, teacher team construction, internationalization index improvement, overall concept and work plan of cooperative school running, etc.
Professor Li Fu said that German industry is very strong, and it is a good thing to cooperate with German universities in running schools. Partner colleges and universities should be highly positioned in the selection. They should not only carry out undergraduate cooperation in running schools, but also cooperate with their own masters and doctoral students. I have studied and worked at Aachen University of technology in Germany for 11 years. The college will vigorously support China Germany cooperation in running schools.
The leaders and teachers at the meeting exchanged views and discussed the puzzles and difficulties in professional direction, teaching staff and language. All the teachers said that they would fully support the college in carrying out Sino foreign cooperative school running projects.
