The international training was hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University and Chengdu Vocational and Technical College of Industry, and undertaken by the School of Mechanical Engineering of Southwest Jiaotong University. German experts and scholars in Karlsruhe Institute of Technology(KIT), Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst(DAAD), the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences(HS Ostfalia), which has cooperated with our school for 13 years, and professors in the field of rail transit from Southwest Jiaotong University formed a high-level teaching team. Department leaders, academic leaders and cadre teachers in higher vocational colleges participated in the training.
The development of this training activity marks an important step in talent training in the field of rail transit. Through the design and implementation of the new talent training plan, we will be able to better meet the requirements of international competence and cultivate more professionals with high-level international vision and cross-cultural communication skills.
In the future, the international construction team of the School of Mechanical Engineering will formulate a higher standard training course system and service standards, cultivate more international competent talents required by international cooperation projects at all levels, and better serve the national "the belt and road initiative" policy.
