Beijing - the 11th editorial committee of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering, the second inaugural meeting of the editorial committee and the working meeting of the editorial committee and the board of directors were successfully held in Beijing Friendship Hotel on December 1, 2018.
The participants attending the conference included: Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology, Changle Xiang, Chief Supervisor of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Tianhu Song, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Daming Lu, Director of Machinery Industry Information Research Institute, Qi Li, President of Machinery Industry Press, Academician Qunpeng Zhong of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Academician Shenghua Ye of Tianjin University, Academician Yuming Wang of Tsinghua University, Academician Di Zhu of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Academician Jianbin Luo of Tsinghua University, Academician Xuedong Chen of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Academician Zongquan Deng of Harbin Institute of Technology, Academician Qingxue Huang of Taiyuan University of Technology, Academician Fengchun Sun of Beijing Institute of Technology and more than 120 experts from the national field of mechanical engineering.
Academician Xuedong Chen of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute was appointed as the director of the 11th Editorial Board of Journal of Mechanical Engineering. Academician Jianbin Luo of Tsinghua University was appointed as the director of the 2nd Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
Professors from our school have been selected into two new editorial committees. Academician Wanming Zhai, Professor Zhongrong Zhou and Professor Linmao Qian were selected as editors of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering. Academician Wanming Zhai, Professor Linmao Qian and Zhenbing Cai were selected as the editorial committee of the English edition of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Linmao Qian was also appointed as the associate editor of the English edition.
Journal of Mechanical Engineering is an academic journal sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, which has published a total of 11,502 articles with 3,827,847 downloads and 19,862 citations, according to CNKI on May 12, 2018. The composite impact factor (2017 version) was 1.948 and the comprehensive impact factor (2017 version) was 1.159. According to the Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform on May 12, 2018, Journal of Mechanical Engineering had 147,383 citations and 1,040,944 downloads. According to the 2015 China Journal Citation Report (expanded version), the data showed that the Journal of Mechanical Engineering has an impact factor of 1.36.
