On June 7, 2021, the Organization Department of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology held the 15th Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Award Commendation and the 2020 Sichuan "Most Beautiful Science and Technology Workers" Release Conference in Chengdu, awarded the "15th Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Award" to 50 comrades in the province. Researcher Cai Zhenbing, a young teacher of our school and director of the Institute of Tribology, won this honor.
The Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Award was jointly established by the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Provincial Association for Science and Technology. It aims to commend the advanced, establish a model, guide and encourage young scientific and technological workers to actively participate in the comprehensive innovation and reform practice of Sichuan Province, and promote the governance of Shu Xingchuan has made greater contributions to a new level. The award is selected every two years and is an important talent award for young scientific and technological workers in Sichuan Province. The first selection began in 1990, and 15 selections and commendations have been carried out by 2021, and a total of 584 people have been recognized in the past 30 years.
